Made up of experienced musicians coming from a variety of different backgrounds, the members of The Caledonian Highlanders - Pipe & Drum Band share a mutual passion for bagpipe music. OUR PROUD HISTORY

The Caledonian Highlanders Pipe and Drum band was founded in 1969 by Pipe Major Lee Adelsberg. We are currently based in Chemung County. Band Members are all volunteers of various heritage and backgrounds who enjoy sharing the gift of of Scottish and Irish bagpipe music. Our bagpipe and drum experience ranges from less than one year to 50 years. Our band has played at many engagements like the NYC Tartan Day parade, Robert Burns dinner and many local parades and festivals through the years.
