OUR PROUD HISTORY
The Caledonian Highlanders Pipes and Drum Band was founded in 1969 by our pipe major Lee Adelsberg. We hail from all corners of the Finger Lakes region in upstate NY and are currently based in Chemung County. Band Members are all volunteers of various heritage and backgrounds who enjoy the tradition and glory of Scottish and Irish music. Our bagpipe and drum experience ranges from less than one year to 50 years.
