The band celebrated our 50th Anniversary in 2019, marching in the NYC Tartan Parade. We all had such a great time sight seeing, dancing at a traditional Scottish Ceilidh (dance party) shows, museums, the zoo and more. We were stopped on the street many times for pictures, drew a crowd at Bryand Park when we played ad-lib and met so many people from all walks of life. Imagine marching down 6th ave. right past Radio City Music Hall, not a car in sight, flanked by skyscrapers with thousands of people waving Scottish flags, cheering and clapping. It is something we will never forget. Many thanks to our "Band-Aids" Scott and Leslie Burg, Anita Adelsberg, Aiden and Karen Thurston, Jr Brooks and our banner carriers Shelby and Sandy Swan. All of us feel so blessed to be part of such a great group of people, doing what we love. AND.....WE WILL BE PARTICIPATING IN THE 2020 TARTAN DAY PARADE!
