OUR PROUD HISTORY
The Caledonian Highlanders Pipe and Drum band was founded in 1969 by Band Historian and retired Pipe Major, Lee Adelsberg. We are currently based in Chemung County.
Band Members are all volunteers of various heritage and backgrounds who enjoy sharing the gift of Scottish and Irish bagpipe music and entertaining the crowds while having fun .
Our bagpipe and drum experience ranges from less than one year to 50 years. Our band has played at many engagements like the NYC Tartan Day parade, Robert Burns dinner and many local parades and festivals through the years.
